The risks of investing in collateralised loan obligations (“CLOs”) include both the credit risk of the underlying loans and the structural risks associated with the CLO framework, including the priority of payments and any related legal or counterparty risks. Although the Fund intends to invest primarily in AAA-rated tranches (or equivalent), such ratings do not guarantee credit quality, and under stressed market conditions these securities may be subject to losses. These risks may arise from factors such as underlying loan defaults, deterioration in the performance of subordinated tranches, increased sensitivity to collateral defaults, and broader market aversion to CLO securities as an asset class.
CLO investments are subject to a range of risks, including interest rate risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and prepayment risk. Prepayment risk may arise where underlying assets are repaid earlier than expected, leading to reinvestment at lower yields. The Fund may also be exposed to risks associated with floating-rate instruments and the potential for default of the underlying assets.
As with all ETFs, shares of the Fund may be bought and sold in the secondary market at market prices, which may differ from the Fund’s net asset value (“NAV”). During periods of market volatility or limited trading activity, shares may trade at a premium or discount to NAV, and bid/ask spreads may widen.
Unlike some ETFs, the Fund may effect creations and redemptions primarily in cash rather than in-kind. This may result in additional transaction costs, potential tax impacts, or delays in deploying capital compared to in-kind transactions.
